Zero no Tsukaima
Zero no Tsukaima follows the adventures of the protagonists Louise and her familiar Saito. Louise is a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. In this world, those who can use magic are either mages or nobles.Louise is terrible at magic, and can never use it the way she wants to. She is dubbed the nickname 'Louise the Zero' by her classmates, due to her success rate of casting spells of being almost always zero.
Early in the school year, the second year students summon their familiars; this is considered a special ritual where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner, which usually is some sort of magical creature. Louise manages to summon a human commoner named Saito Hiraga, leaving her totally humiliated. Due to the sacredness of the ritual, Louise is left with no choice but to reluctantly accept Saito as her familiar. She proceeds to treat Saito as any other familiar only worse, making him sleep on a bed of hay and beats him with a whip for little to no reason, among other things.
One day Saito challenges a noble who disrespects commoners to a duel. Saito is beaten badly at first, but once a sword was put in Saito's hands, he gained the power of gandalfr, a legendary power which is given to the familiar of a void mage, with this power he gains the mastery of all weapons and wields the sword with great ability. Louise and Saito's relationship's develop during the course of the story. Together they face many mysteries and uncover unexpected truths, including the nature of Saito's hidden power, and the secrets of the legendary 'void' element, which only Louise can use.

The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya follows the high school life of Haruhi Suzumiya, a young and very active high school girl, and those who are caught up in her antics. While Haruhi is the central character to the plot, the story is told from the point of view of Kyon, one of Haruhi's classmates.Kyon is an ordinary freshman high school student who has recently given up his fantasies of espers, time travelers, and aliens as he left middle school.
When he chooses to speak to Haruhi, he unwittingly sets off a chain of events which drag him into surreal situations; he is drawn further into a world eerily like the fantasies he had just managed to outgrow, with Haruhi at its center.Searching for a group that interests her, Haruhi joins and quits every club in the school, finding only dissatisfaction.
Kyon makes a snide remark about her actions and accidentally provides Haruhi the inspiration to create a club of her own, which she named the SOS BRIGADE. The first of these new members is Yuki Nagato, a silent bibliophile who usually wants to simply be left alone to read. Without Haruhi knowing, Yuki is in fact a 'humanoid interface,' or an artificial human, created by the extraterrestrial Integrated Data Entity.
The next member is the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, who is one year above Haruhi; she is actually a time traveler.
The final member of the SOS Brigade is Itsuki Koizumi, who is almost always smiling and more than willing to give in to Haruhi's strange demands. He turns out to be one of many espers in an organization known as the the Agency.
Except for Kyon, the members of the club are secret agents of various organizations who are sent to observe Haruhi. They gradually explain to Kyon that Haruhi has superhuman control over every aspect of the universe — an ability which she is unaware of. Whenever Haruhi becomes bored or otherwise dissatisfied with reality, she unconsciously creates a new universe — one more to her liking — and attempts to switch over, thus leading to the destruction of the current universe. In order to prevent this, the members of Haruhi's club spend their time attempting to keep their god-like leader entertained, hold her powers in check, and maintain the illusion of a normal life.

After the death of her mother, young Tohru Honda has been secretly living on her own in a tent. Her life changes forever when she stumbles upon the secret of the Sohma family, whose land she has been living on. The secret of the Sohma family is a curse that changes some members of the family into animals of the Chinese Zodiac when they are hugged by someone of the opposite gender. Now, living with the Sohma family, Tohru is in the middle of ancient conflicts between Zodiac rivals as she wears the burden of the Sohma family secret. Despite this, the members of the Sohma family find a new peace thanks to the presence of Tohru.

Maka reviews(5)---Jigoku Shoujo [Girl from Hell]
The anime Jigoku Shoujo (Girl from Hell) features a mysterious website where you can post a grudge at the stroke of midnight. Soon after you post, a young-looking girl arrives to give you a straw doll with a red string around its neck. Pull the red string, and the person you’re pissed at instanly goes to Hell. Caveat: Your live will be limited: a candle represents you, when the candle burns out, you die and join them.

Maka Reviews(4)--- Prince Of Tennis
Ryoma Echizen is a 13 year old boy with a talent of tennis. He returns to Japan from America after winning the Junior Championships there. At Japan, he attends the Seigaku High School, which is famous for its tennis club. Despite being a freshman at the school, he managed to beat the 2nd and 3rd years’ students at tennis, impressing the Tennis team captain Tezuka. His skill was further rewarded as captain Tezuka allowed him to join the team and play in the Nationals.
In pursuit of their ultimate goal: to win the all-Japan junior high tennis championship, members of the team make new friends while learning and mastering increasingly complex techniques...

Prince Of Tennis is an anime that focuses only(or mainly) on tennis. This anime is the most suitable for sports fanatics and I do not reccomend it to people who is looking for animes with romance. The good thing is that the drawings in the anime are really very nice!

20-year old Keitaro Urashima is one (pathetic) guy who is desperately trying to be accepted into the prestigious Tokyo University, or Todai, in order to fulfil a childhood promise he made with a girl. Despite failing the entrance examinations to Todai thrice and being kicked out of his house by his mother, he never gave up and continued to try his best to enter the university. He thought his luck had finally changed when his grandmother made him the manager of Hinata Lodge, a property that belonged to his family. To his horror, it had turned into an all-girls’ dormitory!
At first, none of the girls living at Hinata Lodge was happy with Keitaro’s arrival, However, after many twist-and-turns, he manages to earn their respect. He has a good feeling towards a lodger there named Naru Narusegawa, who seems to like him too. Slowly, Keitaro even began to think Naru was the girl he had promised to, until another girl appears in their life… …

Love Hina is bound to make you smile; the quirky characters, cute storyplot and funny scenes. Despite the fact that the chemistry between the characters is better shown in the manga series, Love Hina is a romantic comedy that you must watch!

Maka Review(2)--- Kekkaishi
Yoshimori Sumimura (male lead) and Tokine Yukimura (female lead), heirs of the Hazama clan, became the kekkaishi protecting the land and the power. (500 years ago,the famous mage, Tokimori Hazama, was called upon, and with his 2 students, managed to save the whole land. But due to their sickness, the feudal lord was killed, his power buried with him at a site called Karasumori.)
Yoshimori Sumimure and Tokine Yukimura uses the technique called kekkai. ( which may look like a magic barrier used to capture and destroy the monsters and demons that try to enter the site called Karasumori) Demons and monsters are drawn toward Karasumori as it will provide them with power if they stay on that piece of land. Yoshimori Sumimure wants to put an end to that. He plans to seal up that whole piece of land using kekkai so that he can protect the world and most importantly, Tokine Yukimura.

Kurosaki Ichigo, the lead character, found out that he had the ability to see and communicate with the undead (spirits, etc) when he meets a death god, Rukia Kuchiki.
Soon after, his family was attacked by hollows. (hollows are made of spiritual matter and cannot be detected by ordinary humans) That was when Rukia Kuchiki, who was hurt by the hollow, decided to let Kurosaki Ichigo become a death god by transferring half of her power into his body. (since he was so determined to save his family) However,Ichigo unintentionally absorbs almost all her powers instead, allowing him to defeat the hollow with ease.
While waiting to recover her abilities, Ichigo must take over her job as a shinigami, battling hollows and guiding lost souls to the Soul Society.
